I ordered a few boxes and, just going by first impression, they felt like a solid match. The boards were consistent from box to box, the color looked close, and the sizes lined up without any real hassle. I did set aside a couple pieces I didn’t end up using, but overall I had a good feeling about them and I’m happy with how it turned out.

It seemed okay at first, but the adhesive just didn’t hold very well. It kept falling off after a little while, which was kind of frustrating

I was really hoping this would feel like a more eco-friendly choice, but I was disappointed by how much packaging it came with. It just didn’t feel very sustainable to me, which was kind of frustrating.

I grabbed some samples from Stikwood thinking they’d help me nail down a color, but they were kinda too tiny to picture how it’d actually look on a whole wall. Plus, the pieces I got had different tones, which just made me even more unsure. For the price, I was expecting something a little more useful, ya know? Ended up passing on the full order.

I bought this thinking it was real reclaimed wood, so I was excited at first. But once I actually got it and looked closer, it just doesn’t have that real wood feel. The finish looks a bit fake to me, and maybe I expected too much, but yeah, I was disappointed. From a distance it’s okay, I guess, but up close it’s not what I thought I was getting.

For what it cost, I expected it to look a lot cleaner and more finished. Instead, it turned into way more work than I planned for, and the end result just looks uneven and kind of cheap. I really wanted to like it, but I’m not happy with how it turned out...

I really thought this was going to work out, so I took the time to clean and sand the wall exactly like the instructions said. At first I was feeling good about it, like okay, maybe the prep was worth it. Then two days later it started peeling off and my mood flipped fast. i was more disappointed than anything because I basically spent my weekend on it for nothing

It does look good at first glance, and I’ll admit I mostly paid attention to the wood finish since that’s what matters most to me. But once I started installing it, the quality didn’t feel as solid as I expected for the price. The install was more annoying than it should’ve been, and overall it just feels a bit overpriced.

Once it was up on the wall, I did like the overall look. The wood has a nice color to it and definitely made the room feel warmer and more cozy. That said, I personally thought it was going to look a bit cleaner based on the photos. Some pieces had more variation than I expected, and a few had marks that stood out to me in a not-so-great way. It’s not a bad product, but for the price, I was hoping for something a little more polished

The instructions seemed easy at first. They weren’t. Too many small details were missing. My planks got uneven fast. Taking them back up was a pain. Not great for beginners

I was kind of surprised by how limited the selection was. I looked around for the style and colors I had in mind, but there just wasn’t much there, which made it feel like they hadn’t really stocked many options.

I thought putting this up would be a quick little project, and I’m kind of embarrassed by how long it ended up taking me. It does look nice now that it’s done, but I definitely wouldn’t call it easy. Not awful, just more frustrating than I wanted it to be...

I ordered from stikwood.com with the idea that the planks would have a more substantial, wood-like feel. In my head, I was expecting something a little sturdier, but when they arrived they felt really thin, almost more like veneer strips than actual planks.

Once I started putting them up, that thinness became noticeable. Any small imperfections in the wall seemed to show through, and some of the pieces felt a bit delicate while handling them. A few of the edges also made me nervous because they looked like they could chip without much effort.

I probably should have paid closer attention to the product details, but based on the price, I was expecting better. For my project, they just didn’t match what I had pictured, so I don’t think I’d order them again

Customer service was decent enough, but dealing with replacements and sorting through damaged pieces slowed my whole project down more than I expected

I had a basic question about my order, so I reached out to customer service a few times thinking it’d be an easy fix. Nope. The so-called help team took forever to get back to me, and when they finally did, the answer wasn’t even useful.

For what I paid, I expected better. It really felt like once they got my order, I got bumped to the bottom of the list. Super frustrating, and I wouldn’t bother ordering from them again

I’m hoping they make it right with a replacement or some kind of compensation, because this really wasn’t what I expected
